HCDA launches new website

JASPER — The Hamilton County Development Authority has launched a new, redesigned and responsive economic development website at www.hamiltoncda.org.

The site, which targets site selectors, developers, local businesses and entrepreneurs, highlights the county’s strategic interstate location, favorable tax climate and quality of life — all, that make it an ideal destination for businesses small and large.

“Our new website was carefully designed to serve the many needs of our target audiences — specifically, corporate executives, site location consultants and entrepreneurs,” HCDA Executive Director Susan Ramsey said in a release. “It not only offers the critical information they demand but emphasizes why ‘Florida’s Front Porch’ is perfect for any business hoping to grow in Florida.”

In the fast-paced world of economic development, prospective businesses must have quick-and-easy access to information that is rich in data and relevant to the factors impacting their decision making. An appealing design with robust content, allows users to browse information easily while showcasing Hamilton County’s competitive advantages.

In addition to the new logo and look, a few of site highlights include:

Targeted Industries — With the launch of the new website and logo, the HCDA has also established four targeted industries for recruitment and expansion including agriculture, transportation and warehousing, manufacturing as well as cultural and creative endeavors.

Strategic Location — The site promotes Hamilton County’s location just north of the I-10/I-75 east/west interchange. Connecting these two primary interstates offers easy access to ports, rail and air — guaranteeing a company’s product can be delivered quickly and easily.

Business Services — Through the establishment of commercial beautification grants, and services like location advisory, talent development and industry incentives, the HCDA is ready to help.

Up-to-date Data — Access to accurate, up-to-date information is critical to making business decisions. The HCDA understands decision-makers rely heavily on data as they seek to choose the best site for their location or expansion. The new site provides workforce data, community demographics, higher education offerings and Florida facts and figures.

Quality of Life — Hamilton County is known for its rich cultural heritage, Southern charm and inviting natural landscape. Underscoring the community’s quality of life, the site features community events and the benefits of living in North Florida.

The launch of a new website was a strategic initiative of the HCDA’s Strategic Overview and Marketing Plan developed by VisionFirst Advisors which identified key actions to be implemented to better position the county for greater economic development success and prosperity.
