Norman to speak at Veterans Breakfast

MOULTRIE — The Rev. Stanley Norman will be the speaker for the annual Veterans Breakfast.

The breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. Nov. 2 at the cafeteria of Charlie A. Gray Junior High School, 812 11th Ave. N.W. Veterans and their families are welcome to attend.

Norman, pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Moultrie since 1988, is the son of Preston Norman and Avis Norman. His father served in the Naval air force and was stationed in Rhode Island.

The Rev. Norman was born in Moultrie and lived here all his life. He’s married to Nancy Norman, and they have three children, Jeremy, Heath and Sunny; a daughter-in-law, Lauren Norman; and a granddaughter, Ella Sage Norman.

He was ordained to the ministry in 1984 and pastored Elam Baptist Church in Quitman from 1984 to 1988.
