Workshop addresses sex trafficking
MOULTRIE, Ga. — Love Endures Ministries, a new local ministry, sponsored a workshop Saturday at Lifespring Community Church on Quitman Highway. The event focused on how to identify victims of childhood sex trafficking and how to help them.
The program was presented by Georgia Cares, an initiative of the Governor’s Office for Children and Families; it’s the single, statewide coordinating agency to connect services and treatment care for victims of childhood sex trafficking. Georgia Cares has received victim referrals from 114 counties in Georgia, including Colquitt and every county adjacent to it.
