Sons of Jubal plan 2 concerts here Thursday

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Sons of Jubal will present two concerts at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at First Baptist Church, Moultrie, Georgia. Featured also in the concerts will be Jubal Brass, Jubal Handbells and Jubal Vocal Ensemble.

The concerts are free and open to the public, but an opportunity will be given to contribute to the Missions Projects of Sons of Jubal.

Sons of Jubal, the oldest group of its kind in the Southern Baptist Convention, is a male chorus for ministers of music who sing under the direction of Jon Duncan. Duncan is the specialist, worship & music ministry, for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. The varied program of Sons of Jubal consists of hymns, spirituals and anthems.

Paul Aday, minister of music, is director of the Jubal Brass. The Jubal Handbells perform under the direction of Keith Chandler, state missionary of the Georgia Baptist Convention, Music and Worship Ministries. The Jubal Vocal Ensemble perform under the direction of Steve Brown, state missionary of the Georgia Baptist Convention, Music and Worship Ministries.

The concerts will be presented as part of a series of appearances in Georgia Baptist churches in 2018.
