Rant and Rave for Dec. 13, 2018

Thank you, Packer Nation

“Thank you Packer Nation for your support of our kids! Although the outcome wasn’t what we wanted, we still need to encourage and support our athletes, coaches, band, cheerleaders.”

What ‘extravagant things’ does Trump get?

“What ‘extravagant things’ is Trump getting that were denied to Obama? I haven’t seen a one. Any extravagances Trump wants, Trump pays for out of his own pocket.

“Are those being paid for by Trump himself the ones you’re coveting? Envy of the rich is a cruel thing.”

Oh, the good old days

“Say what you want but I’m even missing Nixon right about now.”

Good to see humor in Rant and Rave

“Loved that Rant that badly misquoted Jeff Foxworthy. Good to read some humor in the Rant and Rave once in a while. And it was so true.”

French president is squirming

“Good to see ole French President Macron having to squirm his way out of the big tax increases he, and the Climate Accords, wrought. He’s now postponing implementation of the tax for 6 months … won’t help when citizens have had too much.

“Presumably, Democrats think riots can’t happen here … we’ll see.”

Trump isn’t charged with any crimes

“Saw the column by Gene Lyons, Columnist, title ‘As Trump’s crimes are revealed, we’ll wise up.’ Then, Gene Lyons wrote about 1800s author Charles McKay (Columnists: please, please stay in the 21st Century).

“Then, the columnist whined, whined, whined without naming a single crime by Trump. Why? Because Trump has not been charged with any crimes.”
