Southern Valley named Business of the Month

MOULTRIE — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Southern Valley Fruit & Vegetable, Inc. has been honored as its June Business of the Month.

This recognition highlights the dedication and hard work of a family-owned and -operated enterprise that has been a pillar of the community since 1987. Founded by the first generation and now run with the help of the third generation, Southern Valley has cultivated not just high-quality produce but also a work environment built on honesty, respect, and collaboration, according to a press release from the chamber.

“Located at 2775 Ellenton-Norman Park Road in Norman Park, Southern Valley is renowned for its diverse array of fresh vegetables, including cucumbers, bell peppers, squash, eggplants, green beans, corn, and much more,” the chamber said. “Their commitment to delivering top-notch produce is matched only by their dedication to their exceptional team. Southern Valley acknowledges that their achievements would not be possible without the wonderful people who make their business thrive. From the packing shed and fields to the greenhouses, shipping, sales, and accounting departments, every staff member plays a crucial role.”

As a member of the chamber since 1997, Southern Valley continues to contribute to the local economy and community.
