Downtown Development Authority

The Downtown Development Authority will hold its monthly meeting at noon Thursday in the Welcome Center, 31 East Central Ave.

Horse health event

Tractor Supply Company will host a Horse Health and Feed event on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at its Moultrie store, located at 103 Talmadge Drive Suite B. 

Visitors will learn about maintaining their horse’s health through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities. The event is part of Tractor Supply’s continued commitment to community-based events that cater to the Out Here lifestyle of its customers, the company said in a press release.

In addition to the main event, customers will have the opportunity to enjoy giveaways. Special coupon offers will also be available to all in attendance.

Revival

New Jerusalem Freewill Baptist Church, 296 Jerusalem Church Road, off Highway 133 East, will hold a revival at 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 14-16.

Pastor Billy Wilkes Jr. from Doerun Church of God will preach.

Georgia Pines

The Georgia Pines Community Service Board for area mental health, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases services has scheduled a meeting to be held at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Georgia Pines Administrative Offices Conference Room, 252 Woodlands Blvd. (formerly 400 S.
