Gun control isn’t the answer to shootings

Colquitt County Board of Education, County Superintendent and under-management, Sheriff Rod Howell and Police Chief Shawn Ladson.

Each person involved in providing safe environments for Colquitt County School children should pay attention to leftist gun control efforts. Take note of Lt. Governor Casey Cagles defense of conservative values. Delta Airlines fuel tax break worth $35 million in 2019, hinges on reinstatement of perk cancellations of NRA members. Lt. Gov. Cagle tweeted Monday “Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us  not to fight back.”

Delta is playing the leftist political game trying to distance themselves from 2nd amendment advocates. If you’re a NRA member, Delta no longer offers discounted fares. Lt. Governor says reinstate, or no $35 million fuel tax break next year.

As I sit at the computer, I’m listening to our President advising a select panel that he is going to issue executive orders removing bump guns from legal ownership status.

Denying access to school campuses is far better than denying 2nd amendment rights. Mentally ill shooters level of awareness is sufficient to provide most any weapon. Masterminding access of weapons to a shooter is a waste of time.

Given social mores’ continual decline where will we be future tense without 300 million personal weapons – with 2nd amendment rights intact Americans will be the most protected place on earth. We should be reminded of this crucial safety net the founders installed in our constitution.

Another story today has much merit – relating to mentally ill shooters. Columnist Jill Richardson a self described mentally-ill person who manages her mental  disability, has a storehouse of knowledge that has value if properly explored and exploited. This nation of educational supervisors have yet to address mental  illness in school shooters relying instead on blaming 2nd amendment as the root cause. Reading Ms. Richardson’s column in today’s 2/28/18, Moultrie Observer, her frank and sincere writing leads the reader to believe she would make a worthy spoke person to lead educators in preparing defensive measures dealing with those who would murder school children.
