FFA leaders attend COLT Conference

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The newly elected FFA chapter officer team attended its Chapter Officer Leadership Training Conference, also referred to as COLT Conference, recently to prepare for the upcoming year.

They spent three days planning on chapter meetings, social events, and community service projects.

“We had an amazing COLT full of exciting activities and I can’t wait to see what this school year has in store for Colquitt County FFA.” said Chapter President Libba Johnson.

Throughout the conference they strengthened their communication skills and participated in team building exercises and planned for the year.

This year’s officer team wants to take the national FFA theme ‘I Can. We Will’ and encourage students to see that as an individual one can accomplish the task ahead, but as a group and team they will accomplishment whatever they set their minds to.
