CCREA makes donation
to Humane Society

MOULTRIE – At the January meeting of the Colquitt County Retired Educators, at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library, the Humane Society received a donation from the organization.

Bobbie Key, CCREA member, gave the devotion at the start of the meeting.

Then, the program was presented by Josh Lawson, executive director of the Humane Society of Moultrie and Colquitt County. He gave an update of improvements and needs at the shelter. He also addressed questions from those attending the meeting.

Cat and dog food donations were brought to the meeting by the members.

Julia Dorminey, CCREA president, presented a monetary donation to Lawson for the organization.

The February meeting will be held at the library on February 10, at 10:30 a.m.
