Blood drive

The American Red Cross will hold its Colquitt County Community Blood Drive 2-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the fellowship hall of the First Methodist Church of Moultrie, 409 First St. S.E.

Democratic Committee

The October meeting of the Democratic Committee of Colquitt County will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Colquitt County Public Library Auditorium. This meeting will be the last one before the election, so officials urge members and the general public to attend.

NAMI Night

The Moultrie chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will meet the new psychiatry residents, Dr. Dina Badawy, Dr. Faith Hagler and Dr. Wilson Baumgartner, of the Georgia South Psychiatry Residency Program, at NAMI Night Nov. 5.

The monthly meeting of NAMI Moultrie begins with light refreshments at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 5:45 and support groups at 6:30.

All take place at the fellowship hall of First Methodist Church of Moultrie, Fifth Avenue at Second Street Southeast.
