Outreach day

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Eighth St. N.W., will hold an Outreach Day for Christ from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

The them for the program is “A cup of soup for Christ” and homemade soup will be served.

The pastor is the Rev. J.W. Greene Jr.

Christmas party canceled

The Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Moultrie has canceled its Christmas party that was scheduled for Thursday night.

Colquitt County Food Bank Director Andrew Christensen will discuss food bank operations with the local chapter of AARP at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, in Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Ferguson Room, near the snack bar.
