Luna attends Naval Academy Summer Seminar

MOULTRIE — Rising senior Jesus Luna attended the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar in June.

Summer Seminar introduces students to life at the Academy, where they experience first-class academic, athletic, and professional training, according to a press release from the Colquitt County High Marine Corps Junior ROTC program. During the six-day session, students become a part of the Academy and live in Bancroft Hall (the dormitory all midshipmen live in), participate in academic and leadership workshops, and experience a variety of other activities on the campus.

They have an opportunity to see firsthand what the Academy has to offer through its exceptional academic, athletic, extracurricular activities and leadership training programs. Luna hopes to attend the Naval Academy after he graduates from CCHS.
