YMCA Preschool Gym Camp

The Moultrie YMCA will offer two preschool gymnastics camps this month. “Happy Feet” will be held May 20-22, and “Super Heroes” will be May 28-30. The camps run from 9 a.m.-noon each day with a fun-filled time of gymnastics, crafts and games. Snacks provided daily. Children must be potty-trained to attend camp. Space is limited. Financial assistance is available. This is a great opportunity for a child to develop social and listening skills, as well as motor development and the basics of gymnastics in a fun camp atmosphere. Sign up at the YMCA.

Baccalaureate Service

Mother Easter Baptist Church will hold its annual Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 19, during its 11 a.m. church service.  The committee would like to invite all graduating seniors, their families, and friends to attend this event in celebration of their pending graduation.

Graduates who would like to participate are asked to arrive at the church at 10:30 a.m. in graduation attire (i.e. cap and gown).

The community is invited to salute the Class of 2019.

End of School Bash

Union Baptist Church, 2693 Evergreen Road, Doerun, will hold a free End of School Bash 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 18. There will be hotdogs, bounce houses, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, games and more. Everything is free, and everyone is welcome.
