B.C.T. Gin Co. rebates more than $1 million to customers
QUITMAN, Ga. — The Board of Directors at B.C.T. Gin Company, Inc. once again approved a rebate for customers for the 2018 cotton and peanut growers. The rebate for the 2018 crop totaled $1,007,927.83.

This payment will bring your 2018 cottonseed price up to $107 per ton on all tons purchased. We also rebated $20 per ton on all graded peanuts.”
B.C.T. now supports three ginning divisions, one in Berlin and two in Quitman. It has the capacity to gin up to 200,000 bales of cotton per season. A warehouse facility is located in Moultrie. It has three peanut buying points — one in Quitman, one in Pavo (Sandhill) and one in Adel — with the capacity to handle up to 40,000 tons of peanuts each season.
