Allen promoted to executive director at Legacy Village

MOULTRIE — Legacy Village at Park Regency, a premier assisted living and memory care community, announces the promotion of Kristina Allen to the role of executive director.

Allen has served with Legacy Senior Living since 2013.

Although born in Lakenheath, England, while her father was stationed there with the Air Force, Allen spent most of her childhood in Moultrie and eventually graduated from Colquitt County High School.

Shortly afterwards, Allen joined the Legacy Senior Living team as caregiver. Throughout the past ten years, Allen has served as medical technician, Memory Care coordinator, Resident Services director, and areas sales and marketing director. Her extensive experience has her well-situated to serve and lead Legacy Village at Park Regency as a home and community for seniors.

Allen comments about her new position, saying, “My goal is to lead and serve the residents and team members with a sound mind and heart and to bring joy and comfort to our families by delivering the best care each day to their loved ones. I have grown so much in my past ten years of service; I hope to be able to give back just as much as I have been given.”

Allen said that she loves traveling and making memories with her partner, Russell, and children, Ava Kate, 6 and Rowan, 3. Her family also extends to her 13-year-old Yorkie, named Anastasia, 12-year-old Maltese, named Rascal, and a black and white cat, named Myles. In her spare time, Allen enjoys reading, listening to music while cooking, looking for “treasures” in thrift stores, making arts and crafts with her children, and “creating the perfect iced coffee.”
