MOULTRIE, Ga. — Melanie Germany and Amanda Hall were arrested Thursday and charged with prostitution.

Investigator Channing McDowell reported that he received a text message from Hall after responding to an ad on a website that promoted prostitution. At around 10:30 a.m., Hall agreed to meet him at a hotel at 4:30 p.m. for $100 an hour, he said. She then asked if she should bring her friend Germany along – it would be another $100 for her – and McDowell agreed.

McDowell said Hall arrived around 5 p.m. to the meeting place and Germany arrived five minutes later. McDowell then proceeded to arrest them after explaining to them that he was an undercover investigator.
