Paradise Pool, Davis Insurance get Farm League victories

Paradise Pool and Patio remains undefeated in the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department’s Farm League after defeating Southwest Georgia Bank 11-8 on Friday at the Magnolia Sports Complex.
Nathan Corley and Nathan Bell each had three hits and Tyler Coots and Gabe Horne each had two for Paradise Pool and Patio, now 4-0.
Alek Rosales had two hits, including an inside-the-park home run for Southwest Georgia Bank.
Garrett Griner, Tyler Meads and Vander Hampton also had two hits for Southwest Georgia Bank, which falls to 2-2.
Davis Insurance is tied for second place in the Farm League with Lazarus after defeating Farm Bureau 17-9 on Friday.
Callon Kubiak, Max Parker and Oscar Bullard each had three hits and Wes Davis, Kason Davis and Hunter Strickland each had two for Davis Insurance, 3-1.
One of Kason Davis’s hits was an inside-the-park home run.
Tajh Sanders and Lance Giles had three hits and Chase Niezek, Jacob Walden, Slade Horne and Garrett Lenz each had two hits for Farm Bureau, which falls to 1-3.

In Friday’s Tiny Mites, Southwest Georgia Bank raised its record to 2-1 with an 8-3 victory over Uni Health Magnolia Manor South.
Baell Mercantile also is 2-1 after its 9-4 victory over Holman Supply.
