Ministry honors 32 with Spiritual Awards

The SWAT Ministry — Sisters With A Testimony — honored 32 people in nine categories during its first Spiritual Awards Ceremony.
The ceremony was a celebration of Christian living, according to a press release from the group.
The mistress of ceremony for this event was Minister Katherine Williams. The awards were presented to the recipients by Pastor Corey McGee, Prophetess Ann Bazile, Pastor Margie Jordan, Pastor Maxine Lewis, Pastor Charles Luke, Luke Strong III, Evangelist Zell Banks, Sandra Jordan Griffin, Elder Lee and Minister Vernita Wingfield.
The recipients of the awards were: Minister Zilphia Dorsett, Evangelist Elzie Hall, Missionary Eve Hayes, first lady Shirley Ponder, Deacon Reubin Brinson, Deacon Robbie Brown, Ronald Carr, Deacon Max Mckelvary, Trudie Hill, Delois Jackson, Missionary Sharee Marshall, Brenda Roseborough, Vera Moses, Johnsalene Stokes, Lillian Williams, Minister Darren Roberson, Lillar Shepheard, Claudette Washington, Todd Cason, Elder Latonya Luke, Deacon James Wynn, Missionary Gina Anderson, Deacon Ronnie French, Deacon Daniel Lawton Jr., Deacon Fred Monts, Sonja Bridges, Patricia Merritt, Leatha Snelling, Lisa Clark Hill, Mae Hunt, and Tonja Merritt.
A solo was done by Yanah Hargroves and Destined to Praise presented a praise dance.
“The SWAT Ministry would like to personally thank everyone that helped make this event a huge success,” said Tonita Scott.
