Thomas Bryan Sadler, 50, of Hartsfield, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Norman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Andy Cashwell. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Joe Lawson, Steve Lawson, Ferrell Tucker, Larry Baker, Jerald Burgess and Jerry Lawson.
Born Dec. 6, 1962, in Mayfield, Ky., he was the son of Amos Sadler and Patricia Ann Lawson Sadler. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was the owner of Sadler Heating and Cooling.
“Bryan loved to fish and hunt,” his family remembered. “He will be missed by his family and many friends.”
He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Lorene Lawson and Tom and Rhoda Sadler; and two grandchildren, Cliff Bryant and Cale Bryant.
Survivors in addition to his parents of Pikeville, Tenn., include two daughters, Heather Sadler Bryant and husband Steven of Norman Park, and Samantha Sadler Apperson and husband Jeremy of Philadelphia, Miss.; one sister, Rhoda Moore and husband Jackie of Tollesboro, Ky.; four grandchildren, Chase Giddens, Hailey Apperson, Hunter Apperson and Hannah Apperson; a niece, Amanda Moore Ginn and husband Brandon of Tollesboro, Ky.; special friend, Tracy Hand of Pavo; aunts and uncles Carolyn Newsome, Gail Bennett and husband Steve and Beth Hancock, all of Moultrie, Jerry Lawson of Powder Springs, Ga., Steve Lawson and wife Beth Ann of Alabama and Steve Lawson and Joe Lawson and wife Becky of Sylvester.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel
