Eaton to lead Moultrie Tech board for 2nd time

McMillan, who is a Worth County resident and the senior vice president and business banking manager for Ameris Bank in Albany, became a voting member of the board in February 2009 and was elected as chairman in September 2011. Eaton, human resources administrator at Tift Regional Medical Center, served on the MTC board for the first time beginning in 1998 and as chairman from 2004 to 2007. After a three-year hiatus, she was appointed to the board again in 2010 and will now serve as chairman for the second time for the 2013-14 academic year. Lynn Lovett of Georgia Power Company was elected as vice chairman of the board. Other board members who also represent Moultrie Tech’s service delivery area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties are Bill Boone of the UGA Small Business Development Center; Brinson Brock of Carroll’s Sausage and Meats; Kent Hamilton of Southern Valley Farms; Lewis Herndon of Sanderson Farms; Dawn Johns of Colquitt Regional Medical Center; and Katrina McIntosh, who is retired from the Colquitt County School System.
