Bring your pet — dog, cat, whatever — for the annual Blessing of the Animals Service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. Margaret’s, 1499 S. Main St.

Events will also include a demonstration of how the K-9 Unit works with the Moultrie Police and rescue dogs from the Humane Society, which can be adopted. You can be a blessing to an animal in need by bringing a contribution of dry dog or cat food, metal water bowls, kitty litter, Clorox or Pine Sol, which the church will donate to the Colquitt County Humane Society.

Can’t bring your pet to the event? The church will provide holy oil for you to take home.
