Cecil Sacks Morton, 78, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at his home.

Graveside rites will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, at Weeks Chapel Cemetery.

Born Aug. 31, 1935, in Springfield, Ga., he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oliver Morton. He was a mule farmer and was associated with the State Museum of Agriculture.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Morton.

Survivors include his wife, Hayeslind Allene Weeks Morton of Norman Park; four sons, Howard Morton of Pavo, Lavon Morton and Ben Morton, both of Norman Park and Bruce Morton of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Thelma Furney of Madison, Ga., and Delores Ann Morton of Savannah, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Morton and Willard Morton, both of Savannah, Ga.; one sister, Dora Morton of Savannah, Ga.; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
