- To improve awareness of the importance of being to work regularly and on time, Sunset Elementary School has started a new perfect attendance campaign. In the photo, Carissa McKinney’s prekindergarten class poses in front of the Perfect Attendance Board. Each day that 100 percent of a class is present and on time, the class marks off a letter in the words ‘perfect attendance’ on a smiley face with the homeroom teacher’s name on it. When all the letters are marked off, the class is rewarded. McKinney’s class is the first class to mark off the word ‘perfect’ and each student was given a small reward.
