Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce recognized Jeri Clements at the Quarterly Membership Meeting on July 13 for 35 years of dedicated service to the Southern Hospitality Welcome Service, and for the positive impact she has on the community. Clements creates and distributes welcome packets to the new residents of Moultrie and Colquitt County.  Local merchants contribute gift certificates and coupons and community information is included in the ‘Welcome to Moultrie’ packs. Many times Clements is the first ‘face’ that new residents meet. On average she has welcomed 10 new residents a month, and has touched the lives of more than 4,500 people.
