Colquitt leads 38-0 at the half

Colquitt County rolled up 302 yards of offense and scored five touchdowns to lead North Cobb 38-0 at halftime on Friday in their Class AAAAAA second-round playoff game at Emory Sewell Stadium in Kennesaw.
And it all started with the Packers totaling minus-8 yards on their first possession.
But it was all Colquitt County the rest of the way, taking advantage of three interceptions to dominated the Region 4-AAAAAA champions.
On their next possession. Colquitt drove 90 yards in just five plays to score on a 39-yard run on Sihiem King.
It was the first of three touchdowns for King, who ran for 155 yards on 15 carries in the first two quarters.
Colquitt went up 14-0 after King capped a 45-yard drive with a 1-yard run with 3:14 left in the first quarter.
After Maleek Lewis picked off a tipped Tyler Queen pass, the Packers brought out the flea-flicker, with King taking a handoff then flipping it back to Daniel Mobley who threw to Kiel Pollard, who bulled his way into the end zone to complete the 40-yard touchdown pass.
After Jose Vega’s third extra point, Colquitt led 21-0 with 1:54 left in the first quarter.
The Packer got two first downs on their next possession, which fizzled at the Warriors 23.
But Vega kicked at 40-yard field goal to put Colquitt p 24-0 with 8:55 left in the half
Colquitt’s C.J. Johnson intercepted a short Queen pass two plays later and King followed with a 21-yard touchdown and the Packers were up 31-0.
Taif Smith got the Packers third interception of the first half with 5:41 left in the second quarter. Tim Sanders relieved King in the backfield and carried five times for 42 and a 4-yard touchdown run as the Packers led 38-0 with 3:49 left in the half.
The Colquitt defense held the Warriors to just 79 yards in the first half.
Queen was 8-for-17 for 79 yards and three interceptions. The Warriors also were able to rush for just 2 yards in the first half.
