Julion Westly Clements, 87, of Williamson, Ga., formerly of Moultrie, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 12, in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. The Rev. Rob Blodgett and the Rev. Gene Turkett will officiate.
He was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Mulberry, Fla. He was the son of the late George Clements Sr. and Candis Douglas Clements. He was the owner of Badcock Home Furnishing in Moultrie for many years. He was an avid Braves fan and loved to fish, his family said, and was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Kenny Clements of Moultrie, Kelvin and Teresa Clements of Williamson, Ga., and Joe Clements of Moultrie; granddaughters and their spouses, Candis and Clint Prewitt of Molena, Ga., Melinda and Rob Blodgett of Macon, Ga., Seth Clements of Thomasville, Ga., and Sam Clements of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Caleb Prewitt, Lily-June Prewitt, Brooklynn Blodgett, and Abigail Clements; and former wife, Evelyn Clements.
Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
