David Earl Bell
MOULTRIE — David Earl Bell, 87, of Moultrie died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Billy Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Born June 28, 1917, in Carroll County, Mr. Bell was the son of the late Mable Barrentine Bell and the late Benjamin Franklin Bell. He was the owner of Tallokas Apiaries and was employed with Harper McCall Insurance. Mr. Bell was a retired major in the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 23 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Southerland Bell of Moultrie; a son, David Earl Bell Jr. of Atlanta; a daughter, Donna Susan Martin and husband Richard of Moultrie; three brothers, B.F. Bell Jr. and wife Betty of Donalsonville, Cohen D. Bell and wife Gertie of Perry and Jimmy R. Bell and wife Norma of Olathe, Kan.; five sisters, Hortense Decker of Springfield, Ga., Inez McDaniel of Quitman, Mercelene Lawrence and husband Ferrell of Leeds, Ala., Iris Southerland and husband Billy of Nashville, Ga., and Barbara Jones and husband Lynn of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Kathy Dixon, Jeffrey Martin, Timothy Martin, Christopher Martin, Jane Mazak and Tim Martin; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Jah Gary Kamorris Taylor
MOULTRIE — Jah Gary Kamorris Taylor, infant, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today at Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Corbin officiating. Jah Gary’s cousins will serve as pallbearers.
Born Feb. 9, 2005, in Moultrie, Jah Gary was the son of Gary Taylor and Tequitta Showana Tatum.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Morris Roberts and Joseph Bennett.
Survivors include his parents, Gary Taylor and Tequitta Showana Tatum, both of Moultrie; two grandmothers, Gertrude Roberts and Dorothy Taylor; his stepgrandfather, Arthur Lee Tatum; eight aunts, Brenda Tatum, Belinda Bowman and husband Melvin, Sandra Phillips, Pearlie Mae Smith, Regina Walker, Patricia Crawford and Rosa Bennett, all of Moultrie, and Valerie Gray and husband Dearrell of Atlanta; eleven uncles, Carl Tatum, Willie Tatum and wife Pamela, Danny Tatum and Billy Shannon, all of Albany, and Ernest Drew and wife Becky, Ossie Taylor and wife Gloria, Johnny Taylor and wife Sandra, Frank Taylor and wife Angela, Eric Taylor, Scott McCullough and wife Thorneisha and Kenny Harrison and wife Julie, all of Moultrie; a special godmother, Latoya Robinson of Moultrie; a special godsister, Damilah Foster; and several cousins.
