A Moultrie woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly attacked a man Tuesday night.
Tomika Lacianna Edwards, 33, of 1718 Gatewood Circle, was charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping.
A Moultrie police officer was called to Packer Villas on Fifth Avenue Southwest at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday about an assault. The officer spoke with Mary Edmonds, who stated she and Quincy Roberts were inside a house when someone knocked on the door.
Edmonds stated Roberts went to answer the door, and he was hit in the head with an unknown object. Roberts fell to the floor, and two women, one identified as Edwards, allegedly began kicking him in the face, police reports said.
Edwards allegedly dragged Roberts, and Edmonds stated she and Edwards began to wrestle. Edwards left the house briefly, went to a car and came back with a gun, pointing it at Roberts’ head and threatened them if they did not leave, which they did, the reports said.
The officer was unable to speak with Roberts about the incident at the time of report. Edwards was arrested Thursday but the second woman involved was not known, the reports said.
