Marie Hall
MOULTRIE — Marie Hall, 85, of Moultrie, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with the Rev. Roger Benton officiating.
Born Jan. 2, 1916, in Algoa, Ark., Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hern. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Magnolia Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hall, and a son, Frederick D. Hall.
Survivors include a son, Daniel E. Hall of Florida; daughters, Barbara Morton of Slidell, La. and Ann Stewart of Doerun; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Wilma C. Goff
MOULTRIE — Wilma C. Goff, 82, of Moultrie, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at her residence.
Services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Robertson and Junior Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ben Thomas, Carl Murphy, Ben Ricks, Bill Johnston, Curtis Key, Jimmy Murphy, Gary Brock and Van Murphy. Her nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born Dec. 7, 1918, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Goff was the daughter of the late Emmy Clarence and Leoma Taylor Carlton. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a past Girl’s Auxiliary leader.
Survivors include her husband, J.D. Goff of Moultrie; a daughter, Betty Francis Goff of Moultrie; four sisters, Erlene Murphy, Christine Newton, Maxine Johnston and Odessa Ricks and husband Bennie, all of Moultrie; and four sisters-in-law, JoAnn Goff of Clearwater, Fla., Mary Goff of Valdosta, Myrtle Goff of Moultrie and Nixie White of Orlando, Fla.
Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
