HARTSFIELD — James Franklin Gunn, 46, of 253 Merritt Road, Hartsfield, died Monday, July 2, 2001, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. James Miles officiating.
Born Sept. 16, 1954, in Colquitt County, Mr. Gunn was the son of Robert Lee Gunn and the late Rosie Mae Noles Gunn. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a dry wall contractor.
Survivors include his father, Robert Lee Gunn of Moultrie; a son, Frankie Lee Gunn of Chipley, Fla.; a brother, Robert Lee Gunn Jr. of Moultrie; sisters, Brenda Griffin of Moultrie, Ann Newsome of Pavo and Ellen Gunn of Bainbridge; and two grandchildren, MaKayla and Destin Gunn.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
