Blank places fourth in Montreal diving

MOULTRIE — Moss Farms Diving’s Ann Perry Blank has turned in her team’s highest finish in the International CAMO Invitational being held in Montreal.

Blank finished fourth in the 1-meter competition, turning in a 245.75 on Friday.

The event was won by Julie Doran of North Carolina A.C. with a meet record 262.80.

On Thursday, in the first day of competition, Blank was sixth in her age group in the platform event with a 200.80.

CAMO’s Pamela Ware won that event with a 270.80, also a meet record.

The meet is being held at the Claude Robillard Center in Montreal and is playing host to some 200 top divers from six countries.

The meet will continue today and Sunday.

Moss Farms Diving’s Ryan Helms was fifth in the 1-meter competition held on Friday, scoring a 438.45 in the finals.

Thomas Finchum, also from the United States, was first with a 468.40.

Kelsey Goodman, who joined the Moss Farms program when her father Ed Goodman was named as the team’s assistant coach recently, finished sixth in the 3-meter competition with a 301.85 on Thursday.

Ali Lepech finished two spots behind Goodman, scoring a 294.65. Anna Aguero was ninth on 3-meter with a 290.10.

CAMO’s Sabrina Beaupre won the 3-meter competition with a 368.85

Lepech was seventh with a 257.95 in the platform event, which also was won by Beaupre with a 377.45.

Aguero also finished ninth on platform with a 123.40.
