McArthur Smith

ATTALLA, Ala. — McArthur Smith, 63, of Attalla, Ala., died Aug. 21, 2006, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Albertville, Ala., with burial in New Macedonia Cemetery at McVille.

He is survived by his mother, Gladys Andrews Smith of Georgia; sons, Gary Smith of Albertville, Michael Smith of Attalla and Chris Smith of Boaz, Ala.; daughter, Tammy Rains and husband Eddie; brothers, Junior Smith and wife Liz of Atlanta and Delane Smith, William Smith and wife Darlene, and Jerome Roberts, all of Georgia; sisters, Louise Cooper and husband James and Wynette Willis and husband Theron, all of Georgia; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elvie Smith.

Adams Funeral Home of Albertville, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
