MOULTRIE — Moultrie and Colquitt County law enforcement had a busy long weekend. Between Friday and early Wednesday, officers arrested 46 people on a variety of charges.

Many of those charged were for traffic violations, theft-related or for acting in a disorderly manner.

Those who were charged were:

• Willie Lawrence Bender Jr., 26, of 172 Kendallwood Church Road in Funston, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license and a sound-making device violation.

• A 16-year-old boy was charged Wednesday with being an unruly child.

• Two 14-year-old boys were each charged Tuesday with burglary.

• William Keith Vickers, 37, of 5028 Cool Springs Road in Norman Park, was charged Monday with theft by taking.

• Edward Arness Courtney, 34, of 215 Branham St. in West Columbia, S.C., was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct.

• Gloria B. Williams, 47, of 300 Seventh St. S.W., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.

• Melissa O’Neal, 27, of 2436 Dunn Road, was charged Monday with DUI (second offense), driving with a suspended license (second offense) and theft by taking a motor vehicle.

• Keavin Dwayne Bridges, 24, of 3485 Tallokas Road, was charged Monday with driving with a suspended license, driving without a license plate and no proof of insurance.

• Michael DeBruce, 41, of 133 Maple St., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.

• Tracey Young, 27, of 526 Ninth St. S.W., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.

• Herbert Henry McNair, 41, of 409-E 31st Ave. S.E., was charged Sunday with burglary and criminal damage to property (second degree).

• Jerome Lashawn Osby, 29, of 109 Church St. in Ellenton, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.

• Ulysse Powell, 22, of 1028 S. Gordon St., Apt. C, in Adel, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.

• Gerald Wayne Segers, 37, of 1004 Fifth Ave. S.E., was charged Saturday with no proof of insurance and issuing bad checks.

• Jane C. Smith, 46, of 2767 Alderman Road, was charged Saturday with DUI and following too closely.

• Pierre Shannon Cardin, 64, of 605 Jefferson St., was charged Sunday with aggravated assault (family violence) and cruelty to children (third degree).

• Alton Paul Oliff, 19, of 154 Hiers St. in Berlin, was charged Saturday with illegal possession of alcohol and duty to obey an officer.

• Melissa Hopper, 23, of 141 Deer Run Road, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

• Nettie Joann Warner, 37, of 550 27th St. S.E., was charged Friday with no proof of insurance and driving with an expired tag.

• John Thomas Hitt, 47, of 193 Weather Road, was charged Friday with an open container violation.

• Antonio Johnson, 36, of Garden Villa Drive, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct (family violence) and trespassing.

• Glenn Lee Brooks, 47, of 505 Seventh St. S.W., was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.

• Samuel Bryan Newsome, 23, of 1534 W. Express St. in Tampa, Fla., was charged Sunday with battery (family violence), obstruction and cruelty to children (family violence).

• Alvin Cornelius Hunt, 22, of 839 Shy Manor Drive, Apt. 2, was charged Monday with making harassing phone calls and probation violation.

• Juan Gabriel Martinez Barientos, 24, of 2508 Jerusalem Church Road in Camilla, was charged Sunday with an open container violation.

• Ricardo Mendez Yanez, 21, of 2508 Jerusalem Church Road in Camilla, was charged Sunday with an open container violation.

• Alejandro Cabrera Perez, 22, of 2508 Jerusalem Church Road in Camilla, was charged Sunday with DUI, driving without a license and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

• Kenneth Justin Brown, 18, of 3833 N. Oak St., Apt. 191, in Valdosta, was charged Saturday with driving without a license and speeding.

• Victor Manuel Villanueva, 40, of 105 Southerland Ave. in Berlin, was charged Monday with cruelty to animals and disorderly conduct.

• Oscar Hernandez, 21, of Little Mexico, Lot 7, was charged Monday with public drunkenness.

• Donald Eugene Reeves Jr., 22, of 822 Ninth Ave. S.E., was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license (second offense) and speeding.

• Sergio Garcia, 19, of 689 Circle Road, Lot 2, was charged Sunday with an open container violation.

• Felipe Lorenzo Perez, 29, of 589 Circle Road, Lot 8, was charged Sunday with driving without a license.

• Earl Jerome Davis Jr., 28, of 1184 Sixth Southwest, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and a seat belt violation.

• Bobby L. Johnson Jr., 28, of 543 27th St. S.E., Apt. 6, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and a seat belt violation.

• Christopher Dale Carter, 32, of 279 Tallokas Estates, was charged Monday with issuing bad checks.

• Paresh Arvindlal Munshi, 48, of 3566 Old Chamblee-Tucker Road in Atlanta, was charged Sunday with speeding.

• Jose Juvenal Hernandez, 31, of 1311-F Overlook Drive, was charged Sunday with driving without a license and making an improper turn.

• Jose Luis Gomez, 21, of 1330 Highway 319 N., Lot 107, in Norman Park, was charged Friday with driving with an expired tag or decal and driving with a suspended license.

• Earnest Venet III, 26, of 3 Quiet Cove, was charged Friday with DUI and a change of address within 60 days violation.

• Kenny Allen Moore, 43, of 5929 Crystal Lake Drive in Keystone Heights, Fla., was charged Saturday with driving without headlights and driving with a suspended license.

• Pamela Lunette Adams, 39, of 1209 Sixth St. N.W., was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance, defective equipment and a child restraint violation.

• Steve Curtis Redmond, 45, of 391 Rufus Murphy Road, was charged Saturday with battery (family violence).

• Pedro Lopez, 25, of 689 Circle Road, Lot 2, was charged Saturday with DUI, driving without a license and an open container violation.

• Nemesio Lorenzo Perez, 24, of 589 Circle Road, was charged Sunday with driving without a license.
