Rebecca W. Allen

MOULTRIE — Rebecca W. Allen, 100, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, Sept. 15, at Mother Easter Baptist Church with the Rev. Emory H. Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Pallbearers Cemetery No. 2 with the deacons of Mother Easter Baptist Church serving as pallbearers.

Born Jan. 10, 1906, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late King Clark Sr. and the late Carrie Nelson Clark.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Wynn; two daughters, Dorothy Freeman and Virginia Wynn; four brothers, Robert Clark, Willie Clark, Elree Clark and King Clark Jr.; and four sisters, Ethel Mitchell, Lela Hayes, Hattie Clark and Pattie Clark.

Survivors include a son, James Wynn of Moultrie; two daughters, Beulah Wynn of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Christine Welch of Moultrie; a sister, Katie Blackwell of Knoxville, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Luke Strong and Son Chapel.

Luke Strong and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

MOULTRIE — Martha Lou “Kitty” Terry, 83, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
