Pearl Douglas Webb

ASHBURN — Pearl Douglas Webb, 93, of Ashburn died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Sylvester Health Care.

Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Poulan Church of God of Prophecy with burial in Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Poole and the Rev. Donnie Sloan will officiate.

Among her survivors are two daughters, Mary A. Powell and husband Bennie and Inez Gilpatrick and husband Rick, all of Sylvester; and two sons, Jim Webb and wife Evelyn of Tifton and Curtis Webb and wife Mary of Ashburn.

Banks Funeral Home of Sylvester is in charge of arrangements.



Ellia Franco

MOULTRIE — Ellia Franco, 48, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.



Charlotte Irmgard Marten Hargraves

MOULTRIE — Charlotte Irmgard Marten Hargraves, 77, of Moultrie died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Fla.

Leola Johnson Waldon

MOULTRIE — Leola Johnson Waldon, 98, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at the St. James Pallbearers No. 2 Cemetery in Moultrie. Active pallbearers will be Lee Houston III, Garrett Waldon, Dan Henry, James D. Houston, William Waldon III, Robert Waldon and Demond Waldon.

Born Jan. 28, 1908, in Terrell County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Johnson and the late Fannie Lemon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph G. Waldon and James A. Waldon and wife Lucille K. Waldon, both of Moultrie; one daughter, Myrtice Waldon Houston and husband Lee Houston Sr. of Moultrie; two daughters-in-law, Chestine Strong Waldon of Moultrie and Dorothy Wideman-Waldon of Hamlet, N.C.; 32 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The Waldon Family will receive family and friends at 601 Second St. N.W.

Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28.
