Reginald L. Dawson
MOULTRIE — Reginald L. Dawson, 38, of Albany, died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.
Tollie Ray Horne Sr.
CAMILLA — Tollie Ray Horne Sr., 70, of the Lester Community, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., today at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Pebble City Church Cemetery. Ronnie Thompson Sr., Ronnie Thompson Jr., Jay Thompson, Chance Dennis, Ron Morey and Brant Harrell will serve as pallbearers.
Born Jan. 11, 1936 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Ella Cora McCook and Virgil Lee Horne. He was a truck driver for Firestone and an United States Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by brothers, James Horne and Jimmy Horne; and a sister, Sarah Crawford.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Thompson Horne of the Lester Community; sons, Buddy Hurst and wife Sharon of Moultrie; Ray Horne Jr. and wife Michelle of Moultrie, Gary Wayne Horne of Funston and Tray Horne of the Lester Community; daughters, Sheila Jones and husband Rayburn of Omega and Sidney Woodall and husband Scott of Omega; a brother, Robert Lee Horne of Moultrie; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was Monday night at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.

Judy Baker
NORMAN PARK — Judy Baker, 58, of Norman Park died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at China Grove Church Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Croft officiating. Charles Lindsey, Robbie Stanfield, Thomas Sumner, Steve Weeks, Lynn Ingram, Larry Goza and Maurice Palmer will serve as casketbearers.
Born March 24, 1948, in Plant City, Fla., Ms. Baker was the daughter of Fannie Lou Tillman Nelson and the late Lee Arthur Nelson. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother, Fannie Lou Tillman Nelson of Norman Park; three sons, Michael Baker and wife Virginia, Jerod Baker and wife Tammy and Rodney Baker and wife Lisa, all of Norman Park; a daughter, Melissa Wacaser of Norman Park; four brothers, Ray Nelson and wife Judy of Adel, Leonard Nelson and Donald Nelson, both of Norman Park, and David Nelson of Tifton; three sisters, Tumpy Goza of Tampa, Fla., Mary Ingram and husband Lynn of Alapaha and Jan Palmer and husband Maurice of Camilla; eight grandchildren, Brittany Baker, Morgan Baker, Ivey Baker, Cameron Klar, Bailey Carter, Zach Mims, T.J. Mims and Tiffany Baron; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Ottis Ray Luke
OCHLOCKNEE — Ottis Ray Luke, 69, died Monday, April 3, 2006 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 5 at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Murphy and Jimmy Bryson officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery with Daniel Luke, Tony Waters, Ronnie Newberry, Bruce Luke, D.L. Scoggins, Tommy Palmer, Randy Newberry and Gary Hunter serving as pallbearers.
Born Dec. 15, 1936 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Dottie Ree Murphy Luke and the late Willie D. Luke. He was a retired farmer and truck driver.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Vyrma Luke.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Sloan Luke of Ochlocknee; sons, Ricky Randal Luke and wife Tracy of Ochlocknee and Michael Kim Luke and fiancée Wendy Chastain of Ochlocknee; daughter, Donna Kay Newberry and husband Greg of Ochlocknee; and grandchildren, Delisa Lynn Luke Barrow and husband Jay, Lindsey Michelle Luke, Devyn Ray Newberry, David Bryan McClenithan, Lauren Ella Chastain and Jarrod L. Chastain. The honorary pallbearers will be Thomasville Heat Baseball Tournament Team.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Gary Lamar Hiers
MOULTRIE — Gary Lamar Hiers, 57, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Graveside Rites will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 5 at Sardis Cemetery with the Rev. Dion Brown officiating. Mike Rhodes, Ralph Cude, Charles Boyd Jr., Craig Bruce, George Rhodes and Kevin McGee will serve as pallbearers.
Born Dec. 23, 1948 in Colquitt County, he is the son of Odessa Boyd Hiers and the late James Wilburn Hiers. He was an electrician for Universal Forest Products.
Survivors include son, Will Hiers of Moultrie; daughter, Angie Stanaland and husband Shelby of Meigs; brother, Larry Hiers of Moultrie; and grandson, Trey Stanaland.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 8 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Bruce Merlin Coleman (VETERAN)
MOULTRIE — Bruce Merlin Coleman, 82, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Cobblestone.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 6 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Dr. Hugh Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Brooks Shelton, Neil Schoonover, Dick Aycock, Judson McLean, Bob Herndon and Thomas Coleman.
Born Oct. 19, 1923 in Bradford, Penn., he was the son of the late Vera Coleman and the late Merlin Coleman. He was a retired plant engineer with Wells Aluminum and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and Civitan and was involved with Habitat for Humanity.
Survivors include Jim Coleman of Ft. Myers, Fla. and David Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Shirley Boyette of Orlando, Fla., Sandra Coleman of Bradenton, Fla. and Susan O’Sullivan of Richmond, Va.; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Myrtle Marsh Flowers
FITZGERALD GA. — Myrtle Marsh Flowers, 87, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday. April 5 at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home with the Rev. B.J. Funk officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Born Dec. 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Dr. J.E. and Myrtle Summerford Marsh. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Moultrie.
She was preceded in death by her husband A.T. (Buck) Flowers.
Survivors include sons, Thomas Flowers and wife Connie of Kansas City, Mo. and Ernest Flowers of Moultrie; brothers, William Marsh of Fitzgerald and Plyde Marsh of Fitzgerald; sister, Joan Marsh Rice of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Brian and David Flowers of Atlanta; and three great-grandchildren, Elinor, Whitner and Elizabeth Flowers.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home.
