Donna Lynne Tucker Burley

WORTH COUNTY — Donna Lynne Tucker Burley, 42, of Worth County, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with cremation to follow. The Rev. Teddy Burch officiated.

A native of Moultrie, Ms. Burley graduated from Albany High School in 1982 and from ABAC where she received her RN degree. She worked as a registered nurse at Tift Health Care Nursing Home for 18 years. Ms. Burley was also a caregiver for her mother. She was a loving and hardworking single mom, her family said. Ms. Burley also loved animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Tucker.

Ms. Burley is survived by a daughter, Brittaney Burley of Norman Park; son, Stephan “Bubba” Burley and his wife Lakin of Norman Park; mother, Anne Tucker of Worth County; and a brother, Richard Tucker of Albany.

Floyd Sam Nasworthy

JACKSON, Ga. — Floyd Sam Nasworthy, 74, of Pittman Ferry Road in Jackson, Ga., died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Jackson with interment at 3 p.m. that day at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Norman Park. The Rev. Jim Myers will officiate.

Mr. Nasworthy was born Oct. 23, 1932, in Colquitt County to William Sam and Cora Lee Jones Nasworthy, both deceased. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Cedar Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Hall Nasworthy; children, Diane Crowder of Meansville, Ga., Chip Nasworthy, Fran Hodges, Pam Moss, Denise Washington and Rena Nasworthy, all of Jackson, Dennis Hall, Teresa Tripp Cooper and Amanda Tripp, all of Ashburn, and John E. Tripp of Germany; brothers, Doyle Nasworthy and wife Susan of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Russell Nasworthy and wife Sudie of Norman Park; sister, Ilene White and husband Colin of Norman Park; 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Weeks Nasworthy, who died Oct. 29, 2002; a granddaughter, Joni; a brother, James; and a sister, Laurene.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, Aug. 26, at Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson.

Baker Funeral Home of Moultrie is in charge of local arrangements.

MOULTRIE — Ronald M. Paul, 61, of 129 Tallokas Circle, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements will be announced by Cobb Funeral Chapel.
