MOULTRIE — Two champions were crowned on Thursday in the second day of the annual City Tennis Tournament for youth being held at the Jim Buck Goff Recreation Complex.

Carli Hester won the 16-and-under girls title by defeating Constance Terrell 6-4, 6-1.

And the team of Ivey Jane Reeves and Jordan Hammack won two matches over Rachel Funderburk and Emily Traylor to win the 14-and-under girls championship.

Reeves and Hammack won their first match on Thursday by an 8-2 score. They won the championship with an 8-1 victory.

In 10-and-under girls singles play on Thursday, Courtney Terrell won her third-round match over Anna Barber 9-7.

In consolation matches, Avery Barber defeated Haley Trebony 8-2 and Amber Kling won over Christine Barber 8-1.

In 10-and-under boys singles, Cody Jenkins took a second-round match over Braden Traylor 8-5.

Buck Blalock won his consolation match over Donovan Price 8-0.

Erica Mobley won her 12-and-under girls singles match over Alden Rykard 8-3.

The two will play again at 8:30 this morning in the finals.

In 12-and-under boys singles, Jay Tolbert defeated Andy Alekseichuk 8-0. Tolbert will meet David Forehand in the finals at 8:30 this morning.

Ivey Jane Reeves defeated her championship doubles partner Jordan Hammack 6-1, 6-1 in a 14-and-under girls singles match.

Reeves will face Rachel Funderburk at 8:30 this morning in the finals.

In 14-and-under boys singles, Andrew Harvin defeated Chason Forehand 8-2 in a third-round match.

In the fourth round, Harvin won over Bo Blalock 9-7.

In a consolation match, Coby King defeated Forehand 9-8(7-5).

In 16-and-under boys singles, Christopher Harvin won his semi-final match over Jacob Tompkins 6-0, 6-4.

Harvin will meet Blake Jenkins in the finals at 8:30 this morning.

In 10-and-under girls doubles, Anna and Avery Barber defeated Courtney Terrell and Haley Trebony 8-4.

In 14-and-under boys doubles, Bo Blalock and Coby King won their first-round match over Andrew Harvin and Colby Purvis 8-5.

In another first-round match, Kyle Tolbert and Chason Forehand defeated Jay Tolbert and David Forehand 8-2.

In the second round, Blalock and King won over Kyle Tolbert and Chason Forehand 8-1.

In a consolation match, Harvin and Purvis defeated Jay Tolbert and David Forehand.

In 15-18 mixed doubles, Blake Jenkins and Jessica Harvin won a first-round match over Jacob Tompkins and Constance Terrell 8-2.

In a second round mixed doubles match, Brandon Oaks and Carli Hester defeated Jenkins and Harvin 9-8(7-5)
