Anthony Jerome White
ALBANY — Anthony Jerome White, 50, of Park Place in Albany, Ga., died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home with burial at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Gordon Poole will officiate.
Born July 16, 1956, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Norman Edward White and Mary Etta Howard White. He was a floor technician for Tools Industrial Supply, Inc.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Scott White and wife Karen of Newnan, Ga.; a daughter, Tina Mathews of Albany; six brothers, Clarence White and wife Phyllis of Dawson, Ga., Cecil White and wife Edna of Webster, Fla., Charlie White and wife Georgette of Albany, George White and wife Sandy of Bristol, Fla., Gene White and wife Deborah of Sylvester, Ga., Roger White and wife Kathy of Sylvester, and Norman White and wife Barbara of Fitzgerald, Ga.; four sisters, Margaret Spomer and husband Pat of Indiana, Gloria Morris and husband Ricky of Albany, Kitty Stanaland of Norman Park and Lynn Anglin of North Carolina; two grandchildren, David Mathews Jr. and Lea Bates; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today, May 18, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Phillip “Phil” Warren White
MEIGS — Phillip “Phil” Warren White, 52, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at his home.
Graveside rites will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at New Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. David Bond officiating.
Born July 31, 1954, in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Bernice Edward White and Eteva Redmond White. He was a 1974 graduate of Thomas County Central High School. He was a self employed millwright and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kleman White and Don White.
Survivors include four brothers, Rhett Edward White Sr. of Thomasville, Brimm Redmond White Sr. and wife Diane of Pelham, Orin Bernard White and wife Pam of Pelham and Richard Allen White of Cairo, Ga.; five sisters, Patricia White Singletary of Pelham, Sandra White Braswell of Thomasville, Jan White Harrell and husband Ronnie of Thomasville, Judy White Rosser and husband Tommy of Cairo, and Vicky White McDaniel of Thomasville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn White of Meigs; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.

Otis Benjamin “O.B” Richardson Sr.
MOULTRIE — Otis Benjamin “O.B” Richardson Sr., 80, of Moultrie died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Clark officiating and the Revs. Willie Love and Joseph Davis assisting. Burial will follow in the Strong Memorial Gardens with Kenneth D. Richardson, Derrick L. Richardson, Gregory Richardson, Otis Richardson Jr., Bernard Acree and Joseph Thornton serving as pallbearers.
He was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Camilla, Ga., to the late Henry B. Richardson and the late Tea Mercer Richardson. He was a longtime member of Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Philco Missionary Baptist Church and later moved his membership to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He served on the deacon board, he was an usher, he was a Mason of the Nehemiah Lodge 138 and he was a member of American Legion Post 530 for more than 35 years. He served in the United States Army and later retired as a letter carrier with the United States Post Office after 23 years of service. He was also employed with Mattco Realtors for more than 40 years. His hobbies were fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy W. Richardson; and a sister, Cora Bostick.
Survivors include his wife of many years, Patricia Jordan Richardson; four sons, Otis B. Richardson Jr. and wife Cynthia of Atlanta, Ga., Gregory B. Richardson and Derrick L. Richardson, both of Moultrie, and Kenneth D. Richardson and wife Agatha of Beaufort, S.C.; four daughters, Sherolyn Richardson Davis and husband the Rev. Joseph Davis and Pearline Richardson, both of Moultrie, Cassandra Strugil and husband Antonio and Lequila McMillian and husband Andre, both of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Lillie Ruth Nixon of Meigs; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special niece, Annette Ervin of Pelham; mother-in-law, Ruby Jordan of Moultrie; a goddaughter, Talashia Lamons of Moultrie; special cousins, the Hill family of Atlanta, Ga.; special friends, the Macedonia Church family, the Anderson family of Moultrie, Willie Henderson of Coolidge, the McCall family and the Friedlander family; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive family and friends at 1104 Elliott Brown St. of Moultrie.
Visitation will be today, May 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Chapel.

James Ralph Walden
BERLIN — James Ralph Walden, 85, of Berlin died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Curtis Eason and Preston Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery with David Dampier, Don Dampier Jr., Blaine Walden, Edward Walden, Michael McGuirt and Tanner Maxwell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Berlin Masonic members.
Born Aug. 1, 1921, in Pierce County, Ga., he was the son of the late Sam Walden and Jewell Brown Walden. He was a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of the Berlin Masonic Lodge for 49 years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edgar Walden and Eugene Walden; and a sister, Rochelle May.
Survivors include his wife, Doretha Wilcox Walden of Berlin; daughters, Gail Dampier and husband Don of Tallahassee, Fla., JoAnn Callaway and husband Don of Moultrie, and Sue Saunders and husband George of Doerun; sisters, Pauline Norman of Moultrie, Louise Davis and husband Turner of Berlin, Blanche May of Berlin, and Nell Cardin and husband Kirth of Berlin; five grandchildren, Don Dampier Jr. of Niceville, Fla., David Dampier of Tallahassee, Fla., Julie Yearty of Columbia, Tenn., Lori Parker of Doerun and Wendy McGuirt of Doerun; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests that donations be sent to Southern Care Hospice of Moultrie.
