Bernice Strickland Hudson
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bernice Strickland Hudson, 78, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Moultrie, died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Westminster Woods at Julington Creek in Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Hewell and Sons Funeral Home, located at 4140 University Blvd. S. in Jacksonville, Fla., with the Rev. Cathryn Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Mandarin Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla.
Born Oct. 31, 1928, in Waycross, Ga., Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late Emma Griffin Hall and Carlton Strickland. She worked in the food industry all of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in downtown Jacksonville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by brothers, L.C. “Strick” Strickland and Jimmy Hall.
Survivors include brothers, Jake Hall of Albany, Ga., Gene Hall and wife Kay of Orlando, Fla., and Jerry Hall and wife Debbie of Norman Park; a sister-in-law, Jeannie Hall of Leesburg, Ga.; children, Margaret Coyner of Jacksonville, Fla., Jan Clancy of Jacksonville, Fla., Pam Hankins and husband Tommy Edwards of Moultrie and Robbie Hudson and wife Doris of Ashville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Paul Matthew Alexander and wife Monica, Steve Moore, Regina Retalic, Denice Marsh, Randal Foster and Emma Bernice Hankins; six great-grandchildren, Matthew Paul Alexander, Mandy Moore, Hollie Retalic, Hannah and Megan Marsh, Hannah Rose Hankins and Shannon Hudson.
Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Hewell and Sons Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
Billie Jean Folsom
ADEL — Billie Jean Folsom, 71, of Adel died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Memorial Hospital of Adel.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today, April 26, at First Baptist Church of Adel with the Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn City Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband John Henry Folsom of Adel; a son, Michael Folsom and wife Joy of Adel; a daughter, Wendy Dorminy and husband Clay of Adel; eight grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson and Hannah Folsom, Reese Akins, Acy Dorminy, Alex Dorminy, Carah Dorminy and McKenna Dorminy; and a sister, Linnie Sylvester.
Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MOULTRIE — Boles Beaty, 75, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Brownwood Health Care.
Graveside rites will be 2 p.m. today, April 26, at Westview Cemetery.
