Jones, Moore, Harden lead
Packers All-Region selections

MOULTRIE – Colquitt County has two individual honorees and one first-team player on the 2024-2025 All- Region 1-6A boys basketball team.
In his first season with the Packers, senior Kanilyn Jones was named as the Impact Player of the Year.
Jones averaged just under 13 points a game and had his most productive game of the season against region opponent Richmond Hill, scoring 26 points.
Marcus Moore, a junior also playing his first season with the Packers, received the Newcomer of the Year Award.
Son of a former Packer basketball player of the same name, Moore averaged just under 12 points a game and scored more than 20 points in a game three times.
Cason Harden, a junior three-year starter and son of Packers head coach Andy Harden, was named to the first team after averaging just under 12 points a game.
Colquitt County also was represented on the All-Region second team by senior forward JaKari Byrd.
Zhi Alridge and Quan Kinsey received honorable mention.
The Packers went 15-9 in 2024-2025 and won seven of 11 region games.
The Region 1-6A Player of the Year Award went to Valdosta’s Jabarri Williams.
Kam Jackson of Lowndes was named the Offensive Player of the Year.
Cordell Nelson of Tift County and Isaiah Camon of Lowndes were selected the co-Defensive Players of the Year.
Reshon Benjamin of region champion Lowndes was named the Coach of the Year.
Also on the All-Region first team are Tift County’s Kaden Lawson, Valdosta’s Brandon Brown, Richmond Hill’s Joshua Scott and Tift County’s J.J. Lamar.
Joining Byrd on the second team are Tarrell Green Jr. and Kaiden Brown of Lowndes, Caleb Reed of Camden County and Corey Howard of Valdosta.
Also receiving honorable mention are John Bowick of Camden County; Braylon Deas and Nolan Jackson of Valdosta; Kaiden Martin, Wyatt Ferguson and Jamarcus Walker of Lowndes; and Drew Nudo and Jordan David of Richmond Hill.
