Middle school C-team
tied, but still unbeaten

MOULTRIE – The Colquitt County middle school baseball C-team scored three runs in the bottom of the final inning to earn a 5-5 tie with Cook on Tuesday at Packer Park.
Although its perfect record is gone, the team is still unbeaten at 6-0-1.
The C-team rallied from 4-0 and 5-2 deficits to get the tie.
JK Howell and Braston Wilson each had a hit for Colquitt
County.
Howell and Jarren Harrell did the pitching.
The middle school B-team could not overcome an early 6-0 deficit and fell 13-4, also to Cook on Tuesday.
Gavin Gliemmo led the Packers with three runs batted in.
Max Bell had a double.
Gliemmo, Brayden Eubanks, Dawson Dunn, Jett Browning and Jacob Hamner had singles for the Packers.
The B-team falls to 3-5.
The middle school B- and C-teams will be back at Parker Park to play host to Berrien on Thursday, February 20.
The middle school A-team went to Thomas County on Tuesday and lost 12-3.
Jackson Lasseter had two hits and Gage Griffin one for the Packers, who are now 2-6.
The A-team will play at Tift County on Thursday, February 20.
The Colquitt County sub-varsity B-team dropped a 5-1 decision at Cairo on Monday, February 17.
Chase Enfinger and Owen Avery each had doubles for the Packers.
Parker Goss, Cohen Lawson and Jaxson Dormney had singles.
The B-team is now 1-1.
