Beck Gregory wins boys 3-meter; Deloach places third on 1-meter

MOULTRIE — Moss Farms diver Beck Gregory won the 14-15 boys 3-meter competition and teammate Kendall Deloach was third in the 14-15 girls 1-meter on Thursday in the first day of the Moose Moss Invitational at the Moose Moss Aquatic Center.
Diving Tiger ElliReese Niday teamed with Hannah Mclaughlin of The Woodlands (Texas) Diving Academy to compete in the senior women’s synchro platform event.
They were the only divers entered in the event and scored a 214.08.
Gregory had a 399.25 to take first in the event that included three other Diving Tigers.
John Parker Harrison was sixth, Charles Stevens placed seventh and William Tyson was ninth.
Deloach had a score of 274.45 and finished one place ahead of teammate Austin Leigh Taylor, who turned in a 264.85.
The annual Moose Moss Invitational, which will run through Sunday, has drawn 112 divers from around the county, including 31 representing Moss Farms.
