Local students named to Kennesaw State’s President’s List
KENNESAW — Kennesaw State University has named nearly 5,800 students to the President’s List in recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2024 semester.
To achieve this honor, each undergraduate student must have completed at least nine credit hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.
Students from the Moultrie area earning Spring 2024 President’s List honors are:

— Cais Cook of Moultrie, majoring in Construction Management.

Kennesaw State names local students to Dean’s List
KENNESAW — Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 7,600 Owls named to the University’s Dean’s List, which recognizes students for their academic achievement during the Spring 2024 semester.
Undergraduate students enrolled in at least nine credit hours and with a term grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.
Students from the Moultrie area earning Spring 2024 Dean’s List honors are:
— Caleb Chitty of Moultrie, majoring in Cybersecurity.
— Kendall Alligood of Ochlocknee, majoring in Exercise Science.
— Jade Horne of Moultrie, majoring in Media & Entertainment.
— Latorsha Hardy of Moultrie, majoring in Sociology.
Slater Stringer receives degree from Georgia Tech
ATLANTA — Slater Stringer of Moultrie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Stringer was among more than 5,700 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute’s 266th Commencement exercises May 2-4, 2024, at McCamish Pavilion.
Local students graduate at Georgia State University
ATLANTA — More than 3,500 students earned degrees at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and graduate levels from Georgia State University during its 109th commencement exercises at the end of the spring 2024 semester this May.
Graduates from the Moultrie area include:
— Lincoln Kinsey, of Norman Park, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
— Mary Willis, of Pavo, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio with a concentration in Interior Design.
