MOULTRIE – Downtown Moultrie has rolled out a festive new initiative to encourage shoppers to support local businesses. Downtown Moultrie Christmas Loyalty Cards are now in stores across downtown. Shoppers and diners can earn signatures while dining and shopping in Moultrie.

Each time a shopper spends $20 or more at participating shops and restaurants, they will receive a signature on their loyalty card. Once cardholders accumulate five signatures, it means they’ve spent $100+ in the community, and they can enter into a drawing to win a $500 Downtown Moultrie Gift Card.

To enter the drawing, participants must mail in or bring their completed card to the Moultrie Welcome Center, located at 31 East Central Avenue, by Dec. 19. The winner will be announced on Dec. 20.

The goal of the loyalty cards is to encourage shoppers to support local businesses during the upcoming holiday season.

“We want to encourage everyone to shop, dine, and support our vibrant downtown,” said Main Street Manager Bolt VanDalsem. “Every purchase supports mom-and-pop businesses while helping our local economy thrive.”
