Each year members of the community give Love Light gifts in honor or memory of loved ones. The funds are used to support the Foundation’s Children’s Fund which focuses on the needs of obstetric, nursery and pediatric services at CRMC.

In a bittersweet ceremony — due to the death of Dr. Walter Harrison, founder of the Colquitt Regional Children’s Fund — the Moultrie Junior Women’s Club, the CRMC Volunteer Auxiliary and the CRMC Employee Committee presented monetary gifts to Dr. D.W. Adcock, chairman of the Colquitt Regional Foundation.

The youth choir from Friendship Baptist Church, under the direction of Mary Gibson, performed several Christmas selections and the Moultrie Junior Women’s Club held a cookie reception for those attending.

Donors can still give to Love Light by sending a check for $5 for each person being honored or remembered, listing the names of the honorees and mailing to the Love Light Fund, P.O. Box 40, Moultrie, GA 31776. The names of donors and honorees will be published in The Moultrie Observer Christmas day.
