- Water over GA 270 West at County Line road early Thursday morning.
MOULTRIE — An overnight weather event April 10-11, as predicted, brought in from 4” to 6” of rain in the western half of the county, wide-spread from north to south.
“We have a few dirt roads washed out but nothing that we anticipate being closed long-term hopefully,” said Justin Cox, Director of the Colquitt County Emergency Management Agency.
Cox also said that there were a few trees down and he anticipated more of them coming down because of the ground being saturated.
In the hours following the storm, the Georgia Power website showed no power outages for its customers in Colquitt County and Colquitt EMC showed 46 customers without power.
