Funston third grade students study and experiment with different types of soils from different locations. The students collected soil samples and then created a soil mixture of dried soil, mortar and clear acrylic to create paint. The different colored soil paints were then used to paint original sketches. The soil art and description is on display at Colquitt County Art Center.
