VALDOSTA – Public health officials have confirmed a fourth case of COVID-19 in Lowndes County.

The person was not hospitalized and the source of exposure was unknown as of about 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to Kristin Patten, public information officer for the South Health District. An investigation into this fourth case is ongoing.
